So... Here We Go!

Phew! done at last.. wardrobe, drawers, almirah, all arranged neat as a pin. Well, it wouldn't be the same tomorrow, but that's a different story...Oh! I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Radha and I'm 15 Years old. I was just preoccupied a little with saaf - safaai of my room. I'm sure that you all must be inevitably participating in Swachhata Abhiyan, at home of course, during this lockdown. Well, this Swachhata has some side effects too, one being that you are drawn towards the world of memories. Like, when I was cleaning my drawers, I found my book in which I write anything and everything I feel. This book contains all my poems and write-ups from childhood till the present age of adolescence. So, while dusting the drawers, some dust wore off my brains and I suddenly thought, why not share my poetry and write-ups with people who are interested to read it and can give useful feedback to hone my writing skills , instead of archiving it in my drawer? So, here I am, writing my first ever  blog. To begin with, I'm going to share with you a poem based on this lockdown as I'm sure that we all would have a story to tell to our next generation about the virus that shook us all -  Corona.

वो दिन भी क्या दिन थे....

वो दिन भी क्या दिन थे

जब स्वाधीन होकर भी पराधीन मह्सूस हो रहा था

जब अपने ही घर में ठहरना भारी पड रहा था

वो दिन भी बडे यादगार थे

वो दिन भी क्या दिन थे।

वो दिन भी क्या दिन थे 

जब घर का काम स्वयं कर रहे थे

जब असली मेहनत क अनुभव ले रहे थे

वो दिन भी बडे यादगार थे

वो दिन भी क्या दिन थे।

वो दिन भी क्या दिन थे

जब स्कूल, औफिस और घर एक से लग रहे थे

जब बच्चे पहली बार छुट्टियों का निषेध कर रहे थे

वो दिन भी बडे  यादगार थे

वो दिन भी क्या दिन थे।

वो दिन भी क्या दिन थे 

जब पुरानी यारी स्क्रीन द्वारा मिल रही थी

जब रिश्तेदारों को बार बार फोन करने की इच्छा हो रही थी

वो दिन भी बडे  यादगार थे

वो दिन भी क्या दिन थे।

वो दिन भी क्या दिन थे

जब अपने लघुत्त्व का अंदाज़ा हो रहा था

जब प्रकृति के सामने इंसान का दर्ज़ा दिख रहा था

वो दिन भी बडे यादगार थे

वो दिन भी क्या दिन थे।

Today was just a beginning and I would continue posting more poems and write-ups in the following days.... I thank everyone who is reading this and would appreciate their feedback. By the way, has anyone ever wondered what a song on the Journey of Life would sound like? well, I don't know the tune yet, but I think I have the couplets ready for my next blog...
