Hi there! Right now I am just staring at a blank space around me but just imagine that I am looking at you in the eye and talking to you, okay, because you know, I don't have much experience of talking to a microscopic, omnipresent entity. 

So... How's life? How has the world changed for you after your first year birthday? I am sure you must be having a gala time, after ruining everyone's birthdays who were born (without their fault) during the months when you decided to go on a full to Red Bull mode! It's fun being a sadistic party-pooper, na? 

Okay, excuse me for being rude earlier, but I couldn't help it, because you are getting personal now. Dude, the CBSE class 10 board examinations got cancelled, because of you! No one would know the value of 14 months of hard work better than you yaar. Maana ki we didn't have to travel all the way from Wuhan and hitchhike throughout the world, but we for sure did prepare for the Boards! Anyways, khaali-peeli dimaag garam karne se kuch hoga nahi, because I know that you are not going to cooperate. 

But sometimes, I feel pity on you. I somehow think that you are forced to infect people. Arrey I am talking about those Mask-less, false- attitude wala people, who have an uncontrollable 'khujli' to flout social distancing norms and who believe that immunity has been gifted to them by birth! I understand that with such people around, it is difficult to control oneself. Just like shopping sprees on an year end sale, when people can't help but get mad, all these mass gatherings, election rallies and melas are driving you crazy. I can feel that you are overworked yaar!

But seriously, your infecting spree is ruining everything. Reading the newspaper every morning is nothing less than a trauma. Current affairs have become synonymous with 'Corona affairs'! You have torn apart families, disrupted the economy, toppled down people's daily routines, humongously increased the work load of frontline workers, and the list is endless..... What more do you want now? Okay, there can be many more things that you want ( who am I kidding? ), but understand this,  we have exhausted our capacity to live up to your demands. Har roz ke naye nakhre! Years later, you don't want to be remembered as the bad guy right? (Just to be clear, this was a rhetoric so you don't have the option to disagree.) So please, take a graceful bow before the vaccines and prepare for your return journey. I promise you on behalf of all those mask-less, false- attitude wala people that we would not trigger you to infect us (Right guys?!). Trust me, we only want a single wave from you now, which is a wave of Goodbye!

(P.S. I think you are also affecting the mental health of people , because I just addressed a 400-word letter to um....a virus?!)

I think I am losing it people, but I hope you aren't! We are in this together ( hearing this line too much these days huh?)
